It replaces the OEM filter with a billet adaptor that uses a large filter.

"HIGH VOLUME OIL COOLER"

is available for all Corvair engines. It provides two female 3/8 inch NPT ports that can be lined over to a 72 fin MESA cooler with electric fan. The fittings and lines are NOT included. They are made from CNC machined billet aluminum. 

 

This product will dramatically reduce your engine/cylinder head temperature, especially if your vehicle has air conditioning.
